Bandelin SONOREX SUPER RK 106 – compact ultrasonic bath for laboratories and medical practices

The SONOREX SUPER RK 106 ultrasonic bath, part of Bandelin’s tried-and-tested SONOREX SUPER RK series, is designed for daily use in laboratories, medical practices and manufacturing facilities. With an ultrasonic frequency of 35 kHz, a peak ultrasonic power of 480 W and a rated power of 120 W, the unit generates intense cavitation that reliably removes even stubborn contaminants. The tank is made of durable 1.4301 stainless steel with a wall thickness of 1.0 mm and offers a total capacity of 5.6 litres, with a usable working volume of 4.0 litres. This makes the RK 106 model a compact yet powerful ultrasonic bath suitable for small to medium-sized batches in everyday laboratory work, without taking up much space on the workbench. The housing is also made entirely of 1.4301 stainless steel, making the unit corrosion-resistant and easy to clean. As the SONOREX SUPER RK 106 operates without an integrated heater, it is particularly suitable for applications where the cleaning medium is at room temperature or is temperature-controlled separately.

SweepTec technology for consistent cleaning results

A key feature of the SONOREX SUPER RK 106 is the fully automatic SweepTec function. It prevents the formation of standing waves in the ultrasonic field, thereby ensuring uniform sound distribution and consistent cleaning performance throughout the entire tank volume – regardless of where the items being cleaned are located in the tank. The cleaning duration can be conveniently set using a rotary knob within a range of 1 to 15 minutes (± 5 per cent); alternatively, continuous operation is available when longer cleaning cycles are required. The robust housing made of 1.4301 stainless steel, the IP 32 protection rating and the 2-metre-long mains cable permanently attached to the unit make the ultrasonic bath a durable and practical piece of equipment suitable for everyday professional use in the laboratory.
