SONOREX SUPER RK 514 BH: Ultrasonic bath with heating for demanding cleaning tasks

The Bandelin SONOREX SUPER RK 514 BH is an ultrasonic bath with heating for use in laboratories, medical practices and workshops. It cleans thoroughly and gently using intense cavitation bubbles that reach even hard-to-access areas of the items being cleaned. With a total capacity of 18.7 litres and a usable working capacity of 12.5 litres, the stainless steel tank offers sufficient space for larger batches of instruments, glassware and small parts. The thermostatically controlled heating system covers a temperature range of 30 to 80 °C, thereby also supporting cleaning processes that require heated cleaning solutions.

The unit is operated via a clear rotary control, which allows the cleaning duration and bath temperature to be set easily. The timer covers a range of 1 to 15 minutes; alternatively, continuous operation is possible. The tank and housing are made of 1.4301 stainless steel, ensuring resistance to many cleaning agents used in everyday laboratory work. For easy emptying, the SONOREX SUPER RK 514 BH features a ball valve with a hose fitted on the left-hand side.

Furthermore, ultrasound is frequently used to degas solvents and aqueous media, for example before they are used in downstream analytical processes. Designed for daily use in laboratories, medical practices and workshops, the SONOREX SUPER RK 514 BH features a tank made from 1.0 mm thick 1.4301 stainless steel and a housing made from the same material, which is drip-proof (IP 32 protection rating). Weighing 11.9 kg, the unit can be easily positioned at various workstations, whilst the permanently attached 2-metre power cable makes connection to a 230 V power supply straightforward. The compact external dimensions of 355 x 325 x 385 mm ensure that the ultrasonic bath can be easily integrated even into laboratories with limited floor space, without compromising on total or working capacity.
