In the 29-litre class of the SONOREX ZE range, the Bandelin SONOREX ZE 1032 DT offers the highest ultrasonic power and the control unit with the most functions. This built-in ultrasonic bath for under-counter installation combines 1,760 watts of peak power and TwinSonic technology with the ST 30.1 DT control unit, which displays the temperature and features an overtemperature warning.

1,760 watts across twelve vibration systems

The GT 504 M-C ultrasonic generator delivers 440 watts of nominal power and up to 1,760 watts of peak power at 35 kHz. This power is distributed across eight vibration systems at the base of the TE 1032 tank and four on the side. Bandelin calls this principle ‘TwinSonic’, which is designed to reduce acoustic dead zones without causing the basket to oscillate. The generator is housed in an aluminium casing with IP 20 rating, measuring 360 x 310 x 142 mm, and features mounting brackets for vertical installation. The connection cable to the tank is 2 m long.

Control unit with temperature sensor

Using the buttons on the ST 30.1 DT, you can select one of eight time settings (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, ± 5 %) or continuous operation. You can also select the pulse function, sweep and DEGAS rapid degassing. The display shows the bath temperature; the controller issues a warning in the event of overtemperature and switches off automatically after 12 hours.

The tank

Internal dimensions 510 x 300 mm, depth 200/220 mm, sloping base, rounded corners: these are the specifications of the TE 1032 tank. The 1.4404 stainless steel is 2.0 mm thick. The working capacity is 20.0 l, the total capacity is 29.0 l, and there is a fill level mark. Externally, the oscillating tank measures 570 x 404 x 270/290 mm and has an IP 30 protection rating. The drain is located in a 1½-inch bead.

Which of the four 29-litre models?

• The ZE 1031 has bottom ultrasonic waves, 1200 watts and the ST 15.1 rotary handle control.
• The ZE 1031 DT has the same power output as the ZE 1031, but features the ST 30.1 DT control.
• The ZE 1032 has bottom and side ultrasonic waves with 1,760 watts and the rotary handle.
• The ZE 1032 DT combines bottom and side ultrasonic cleaning with the ST 30.1 DT control unit.

If you need to monitor the bath temperature or work with DEGAS when cleaning medical instruments, the 1032 DT is suitable. For time-only control, the ZE 1032 is sufficient.
