The professional choice for demanding media in the laboratory
The BRAND seripettor ® pro (0.2–2 ml) is the high-performance addition to the seripettor ® range. Whilst the basic model is designed for routine applications in biology, the seripettor ® pro really comes into its own in chemistry and analytics. It enables the dispensing of a significantly wider range of media, including diluted to medium-concentration acids, salt solutions, polar solvents and essential oils.
Fatigue-free serial dispensing
Like the basic model, the Pro version also features an integrated return spring. This automatically lifts the piston after each dispensing stroke and refills the dispensing cylinder automatically. The result: extremely efficient and effortless operation, even during long dispensing runs. The volume is set precisely via a toothed rack, which prevents accidental adjustment.
Extended range of applications
Thanks to higher-quality materials in contact with the media (including borosilicate glass, ceramics and PFA), the seripettor ® pro is suitable for:
- Acids: e.g. hydrochloric acid (HCl), sulphuric acid (H₂SO₄), nitric acid (HNO₃) (please note concentration limits!).
- Solvents: Polar solvents such as acetone or ethanol.
- Salt solutions & buffers: Including crystallising media.
- Special applications: Essential oils, UV-sensitive media.
Extremely easy maintenance and durability
The seripettor ® pro is designed so that wear parts can be replaced by the user. The entire dosing unit can be replaced without tools if necessary. This ensures high cost-effectiveness and prevents long downtimes in critical applications.
