The tried-and-tested standard: BRAND Dispensette S Analog (without back-dosing valve) The BRAND Dispensette S Analog sets the standard for dispensing directly from the laboratory bottle. In this standard version (without back-dispensing valve), you get maximum precision and robustness at an attractive price. It is the ideal choice for applications where the venting volume is not critical or is routinely discarded. S-Class: Safe, Fast, Simple The ‘S’ generation has been optimised to make everyday laboratory work easier: Analogue adjustment: The volume is set using a mechanical slider on the scale. An internal rack and pinion mechanism locks the setting securely in place – nothing shifts, even when subjected to vibrations. Minimal operating force required: Aspiration and discharge are noticeably easier than with previous models. This reduces physical strain, particularly during long dispensing runs. Direct dispensing: This version features a single discharge channel. Dispensing takes place immediately after the cylinder has been filled. Universal chemical resistance (colour code: red) The Dispensette S Analog is the all-rounder in the laboratory. It is suitable for a very wide range of media, including: Corrosive acids: e.g. H₃PO₄, H₂SO₄ (conc.), HCl. Alkalis: e.g. NaOH, KOH. Salt solutions & buffers. Polar solvents: e.g. ethanol, methanol, acetylacetone. (Note: This unit is not suitable for hydrofluoric acid (HF) – for this, you will need the Trace Analysis version.) Robust construction The device does not use sealing rings on the piston (floating piston system), which minimises wear and prevents crystallisation. For cleaning or sterilisation, the dispenser is fully autoclavable at 121 °C without the need for disassembly. Efficient dispensing of medium volumes The BRAND seripettor ® (2.5–25 ml) is the ideal choice for any laboratory seeking a cost-effective and robust solution for dispensing volumes of up to 25 ml. This instrument bridges the gap between microvolumes and large volumes and is perfectly suited to routine use. Whether nutrient solutions, buffers or agar media – the seripettor ® delivers reliable results at minimal cost per dispensing operation. Automatic refilling for batch work The integrated return spring really comes into its own with volumes up to 25 ml: it automatically lifts the piston after each dispensing stroke and refills the cylinder on its own. This enables fast, effortless operation, even during long dispensing runs. The desired volume can be set in a flash and without the risk of mix-ups via the mechanical rack and pinion. Specialist for culture media and more Thanks to its special combination of materials and design, the seripettor ® is particularly versatile: Culture media: Agar media can be dispensed without any problems up to a temperature of 60 °C. Biological reagents: Perfect for buffer solutions, detergents, vitamin solutions or hydrogen peroxide. Acids & alkalis: Suitable for weakly concentrated or diluted acids and alkalis (e.g. NaOH, KOH). Solvents: Compatible with polar solvents such as ethanol, methanol or acetylacetone. Whilst the basic model is designed for routine applications in biology, the seripettor ® pro really comes into its own in chemistry and analytics. It enables the dispensing of a significantly wider range of media, including diluted to medium-concentration acids, salt solutions, polar solvents and essential oils. Fatigue-free serial dispensing Like the basic model, the Pro version also features an integrated return spring. This automatically lifts the piston after each dispensing stroke and refills the dispensing cylinder automatically. The result: extremely efficient and effortless operation, even during long dispensing runs. The volume is set precisely via a toothed rack, which prevents accidental adjustment. Extended range of applications Thanks to higher-quality materials in contact with the media (including borosilicate glass, ceramics and PFA), the seripettor ® pro is suitable for: Acids: e.g. hydrochloric acid (HCl), sulphuric acid (H₂SO₄), nitric acid (HNO₃) (please note concentration limits!). Analogue adjustment: The desired volume is set using a mechanical slide control with an internal rack.
