The Brand Pipette Pack 1 (MPN 705896) is designed as an ‘all-in-one’ solution for molecular biology and analytical laboratories. With five variable single-channel pipettes from the Transferpette S series, it seamlessly covers the entire volume range from 0.1 µl to 1000 µl. Unlike smaller sets, this pack includes the high-quality bench stand (Rondell), which accommodates up to six instruments and ensures organised, readily accessible storage at the workstation – a crucial factor for efficient workflows with high sample throughputs.

Ergonomics and process reliability

The pipettes included (D-2.5 to D-1000) represent the state of the art in liquid-handling technology. The main focus is on true one-handed operation: volume adjustment, pipetting stroke and tip ejection are carried out without changing grip. The patented volume adjustment lock prevents accidental adjustment of the parameters during routine use. For contamination-sensitive work (e.g. PCR, cell culture), the entire instrument – including the shaft and piston – is fully autoclavable at 121 °C (2 bar) without the need for disassembly.

Calibration and maintenance

Brand utilises ‘Easy Calibration’ technology. Should adjustment be necessary due to challenging media (high viscosity/density), this can be carried out without tools and in a matter of seconds. A red mark clearly indicates that the factory setting has been altered, ensuring audit compliance in accordance with ISO 8655.
