The Brand Transferpette S Starter Kit Standard bundles 3 variable single-channel pipettes of 0.5-10 / 10-100 / 100-1000 µl in one set and thus covers in one go what would otherwise require several individual orders, ready for use directly in the stand and typically suitable for initial laboratory equipment with the three most frequently used volume ranges in everyday microbiological and molecular biological work. This makes the commonly used combination of small, medium and large volume available immediately. All the pipettes included can be operated one after another without getting used to a different handling.

3 pipettes for the complete range

The Starter Kit Standard combines 3 Transferpette S single-channel pipettes with variable volume: the D-10 for 0.5-10 µl with an increment of 0.01 µl, the D-100 for 10-100 µl with an increment of 0.1 µl and the D-1000 for 100-1000 µl with an increment of 1 µl. Together the devices cover the range 0.5-10 / 10-100 / 100-1000 µl. A matching pipette tip size is defined for each pipette, included in the set as 1x TipBox 0.5-20 µl, 1x TipBox 2-200 µl, 1x TipBox 50-1000 µl.

Precision under German legal metrology

All pipettes in the set carry the DE-M marking under German legal metrology, and the accuracy testing is based on DIN EN ISO 8655 with three test points per volume range (100, 50 and 10 percent of the nominal volume). At the respective nominal volume, the accuracy A lies, depending on the model, between ±1 % and ±0.6 %, a level of accuracy that matters in dilution series and quantitative analyses. The accuracy A describes the deviation of the mean dispensed volume from the nominal value, the coefficient of variation CV the scatter of several repetitions at the same volume, both values increase towards the lower end of a volume range.

One-handed operation and tool-free adjustment

For series work, each pipette in the set is designed for one-handed operation, including a lock (UNLOCK/LOCK) against accidental adjustment. A deviation from the factory setting can be corrected directly and without tools using the Easy Calibration function.

Autoclavable fully assembled

Sterile working is possible with every pipette in the set: it can be autoclaved completely, at 121 degrees Celsius and 2 bar, with a holding time of at least 15 minutes according to DIN EN 285, without having to be dismantled beforehand.

Quality certificate and warranty included

A quality certificate (Performance Certificate) documents the testing of the pipettes in the Starter Kit Standard. A three-year warranty applies to the single-channel pipettes of the entire Transferpette S series.
