Anyone who needs to draw cleaning solutions or diluted acids several times a day from different containers – often in places where there is no nearby power socket – will benefit from a cordless pump. The AccuOne is a battery-powered centrifugal pump for small volumes, designed to deliver low-viscosity to aqueous acids, alkalis, chemicals and cleaning agents up to approximately 200 mPas, without the need for a power socket.
Lithium-ion battery with no memory effect
The battery is lightweight, powerful and has no memory effect, so recharging it mid-use does not reduce its subsequent runtime. An auto-stop function protects against deep discharge. According to Bürkle, a full charge is sufficient for a flow rate of around 1,500 litres, with a charging time of approximately 4 hours. The plugs are designed for use in the EU and the UK.
Hybrid system with mains power supply
The AccuOne’s drive and pump unit can also be operated using a mains power supply. The identically constructed EnergyOne, which runs on mains power, is available as a standalone product from LT Laborhandel; the battery and mains power supply are interchangeable. Those who mainly use the pump at a fixed workstation with a mains socket and do not wish to wait for the battery to charge are often better served by the EnergyOne.
Performance data for small volumes
The flow rate ranges from 0 to around 12 l/min, whilst the head is approximately 4 mWS. The 25 mm diameter immersion tube can be continuously adjusted in terms of immersion depth and fits through container openings from 25 mm. The connection is via a drum coupling; the outlet elbow has an external diameter of 16 mm and a length of 203 mm. The IP 20 protection rating is designed for indoor use.
Materials for aggressive media
The parts in contact with the medium are made of polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and Hastelloy 2.4610 (AISI Alloy C-4), three materials with high chemical resistance. Before use with a specific medium, however, it is still worth consulting a chemical resistance table, as Bürkle itself recommends on the product page.
Three immersion depths for different containers
The shortest version, with a 50 cm immersion depth, is suitable for containers up to approximately 30 litres. The medium version, with a 70 cm immersion depth, is suitable for containers up to approximately 60 litres, whilst the longest version, with a 100 cm immersion depth, is suitable for drums up to approximately 220 litres.
Mobile use without a power cable
As it has no mains cable, the pump can be taken between different locations – for example, if several canisters need to be emptied in different storage areas in the course of a morning. The lithium-ion battery can be swapped for a charged spare battery in just a few simple steps.
Contents of the pack and initial set-up
The scope of delivery includes the pump unit, drive unit, battery, charger with plug, a plug adapter set and the fixed outlet elbow. Before first use, charge the battery using the supplied charger; the pump is then ready for immediate use.
Protection rating and operating environment
The IP 20 protection rating indicates that the pump is designed for indoor use, without any special protection against water jets or dust from outside. This is sufficient for use in warehouses and laboratories with a normal indoor environment.
