Representative samples from viscous and pasty substances
The Bürkle folding sampler for multi-layer samples takes representative samples from viscous, pasty and pulpy substances – in accordance with DIN 51750 Part 3 and DIN EN ISO 15528. The folding mechanism keeps different layers of material separate, ensuring that, particularly with pasty substances, the layers do not mix during sampling.
Optimised opening mechanism
The fully dismantlable opening mechanism allows for thorough cleaning between sampling operations – essential for preventing cross-contamination when switching between different substances. Depending on the consistency of the sample material, the folding sampler is used in different ways: for viscous media, it is inserted in the closed position right down to the bottom, opened there, closed again and then removed. For paste-like substances, it is inserted in the open position right down to the bottom, followed by closing and withdrawal.
Robust design in V4A stainless steel
V4A (grade 1.4404) is corrosion-resistant and designed for repeated use in laboratory and process environments. With a chamber volume of 460 ml and an insertion depth of 750 mm, the folding sampler is suitable for sampling from deeper containers and drums.
