Bürkle offers immersion bottles and immersion bombs for sediments, for environmental applications, for chemically aggressive products, for the petrochemical industry, for explosion-proof applications and much more. The immersion bottles for explosion-proof applications are made of nickel-plated brass, which prevents them from oxidising.

Submersible containers can be used for spot samples, full-depth samples and soil samples.

Submersion containers are heavy. Special hand-operated rope reels with large winding diameters are required for lowering them. Other rope reels place a heavy strain on the user’s wrists and can lead to health problems. Lowering ropes and chains in a wide variety of materials, as well as hand-operated rope reels – including those for explosion-protected areas – are available as accessories.
