The Elmasonic P60H from Elma’s P-Series is a specialised professional ultrasonic cleaner designed to meet the most demanding requirements in laboratories, the medical sector and industrial manufacturing. With a tank capacity of 5.7 litres and unique multi-frequency technology, the P60H covers an extremely wide range of applications – from the rough cleaning of stubborn contaminants to the highly sensitive processing of micro-instruments. The digital control system and integrated heating make this device an indispensable partner for complex cleaning processes and sample preparation (e.g. degassing or homogenisation).

Multi-frequency technology (37/80 kHz) for maximum flexibility

The key advantage of the Elmasonic P-Series is its switchable ultrasonic frequency. Whilst 37 kHz is the ideal choice for standard cleaning and the removal of greases, oils or polishing pastes, the 80 kHz frequency offers extremely fine cavitation. This high frequency penetrates even the smallest capillaries and is so gentle that even the most delicate parts, such as watch components, micro-electronics or thin-walled glassware, can be cleaned safely. The digital frequency switching on the unit saves you time and eliminates the need for separate units for different cleaning stages.

Smart functions: Pulse, Sweep and Degas

The Elmasonic P60H features special operating modes that significantly enhance cleaning performance. Pulse mode increases the peak power of the ultrasound by up to 20 per cent, which accelerates the removal of extremely encrusted samples. The tried-and-tested Sweep function ensures uniform sound distribution throughout the tank via continuous frequency modulation, thereby preventing ‘dead zones’. The Degas function is available for preparing HPLC solvents or fresh cleaning fluids, efficiently removing dissolved gases in the shortest possible time.

Ergonomics and durability in everyday laboratory use

Elma prioritises the highest material quality: the ultrasonic bath is made of cavitation-resistant stainless steel, which extends the service life of the P60H even during intensive continuous operation. Operation is via a clear display that shows both target and actual values for temperature and cleaning time simultaneously. Additional safety is provided by the heater’s dry-run protection and an automatic safety shut-off after 12 hours. Thanks to the drain at the rear with a side-mounted rotary knob, the cleaning fluid can be drained cleanly and in a controlled manner without the need to move the unit.
