Elma modular cleaning basket 1113387 for Elmasonic size 100

Carburettors, filters and industrial components are among the items cleaned in the Select series. For this, the Elma Elmasonic Select 100 has a tank of 280 x 220 x 145 mm and 9.5 litres total volume. The tank is deeper than that of the Select 80, which at a similar volume is only 110 mm deep. The ultrasonic frequency is 37 kHz, and the heater delivers 400 W.Area and fill levelThe unit is filled to 115 mm, and the distance from the basket floor to the liquid level is 80 mm. The original accessory basket has internal dimensions of 255 x 200 x 70 mm and takes up to 6 kg. Externally the unit measures 380 x 300 x 280 mm with lid and weighs 6.2 kg. The plastic lid is part of the scope of delivery and can be turned upside down and used as a drip tray for the basket. The fill level of 115 mm and the recommended working volume of 6.8 litres match the values of the Select 80, although the tank is shaped differently.Ultrasound and modesThe effective ultrasonic power is 150 W, the peak power 600 W, and the total power consumption 550 W. The unit has five modes. Eco stands for gentler cleaning, Sweep for evenly distributed action, and Pulse for increased peak power against stubborn soiling. Dynamic combines Pulse and Sweep, and Degas degasses the medium before cleaning. Auto-Degas and the temperature-controlled start are also available. Four programs store combinations of mode, duration and temperature.Drain and operationThe medium is drained via a G 3/8 inch drain connection that can be opened and closed with a rotary switch. The DN10 hose nozzle is included. On the display, the duration between 1 minute and 6 hours and the setpoint temperature between 25 and 80 °C are set with plus and minus keys, and the limit temperature can be set to 40 to 60 °C. An acoustic signal confirms inputs. Dry-run protection is active when the heating is on, and after 8 hours the unit switches off.Select 100 and the neighbouring sizesThe Elmasonic Select 80 offers 9.3 litres in a tank of 475 x 110 x 145 mm and 600 W heating power. The Elmasonic Select 120 has a similar footprint at 300 x 215 mm, but a tank height of 195 instead of 145 mm, giving 12.9 litres, plus 200 W effective ultrasonic power and 800 W heating power. For this, the Elma Elmasonic Easy 100H has a tank with 9.5 litres total volume and internal dimensions of 280 x 220 x 145 mm. Unlike the models up to 40H, it has a drain connection, and the hose nozzle is included.Drain, hose connection and drain strainerThe G 3/8 inch drain connection is opened and closed with a rotary knob, and the hose connection has an internal diameter of 12 mm. The hose for waste water disposal is not part of the scope of delivery. A stainless steel drain strainer (item no. 1045648) is available as an accessory for sizes 30 to 300.Power and heatingThe ultrasound has 150 W effective power and 600 W peak at 37 kHz. The heater delivers 400 W, and the total power consumption is 550 W. The temperature range extends from 25 to 80 °C, and at a bath temperature of 90 °C the unit switches off as a safety measure. With lid at a distance of 1 m, the sound pressure level is below 80 dB(A). Two modes are available, Eco and Dynamic, with Eco the quieter and Dynamic the more intensive.Basket, fill level and lidThe fill level is 115 mm, and 6.8 litres of working volume are recommended. The modular cleaning basket 100 (item no. 1113387) has internal dimensions of 250 x 195 x 90 mm and may be loaded with up to 6.0 kg, and 85 mm remain between the basket floor and the liquid level. Lids available are the stainless steel lid 100/120 (item no. 1111932) and plastic lid 100/120 in three colours (item no. 1003285, 1101133, 1071697). The insert lid 1 (item no. 1111909) holds four cleaning glasses or beakers, and a cooling coil (item no. 1037515) is available as an accessory.Operation without a displayThe rotary knob for the cleaning duration also switches the unit on and off, and ultrasonic cleaning is started and stopped with the start/stop button. The steps are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 minutes, plus ON for continuous operation with a stop after 6 hours at most. A second rotary knob sets the temperature, the mode button switches between Eco and Dynamic, and LEDs show the status. After 8 hours without operation the unit switches off. The Easy series has no programs, nor Sweep, Pulse or Degas.Between 40H and 120HThe Easy 40H holds 3.9 litres and has no drain, whereas the 100H has a drain with hose nozzle. It weighs 5.9 kg (with lid) and measures 380 x 315 x 280 mm externally.
