ESAB OK AlSi5 welding rod – for aluminium welding
The ESAB OK AlSi5 (96022430U0) is a high-quality welding rod for welding aluminium alloys with a silicon content of up to 7 per cent. It is supplied in a convenient pack of 10 and is ideal for repair, maintenance and fabrication.
Thanks to its silicon content, the electrode improves fluidity and reduces the susceptibility to hot cracking. This results in clean, low-porosity welds with high corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties.
Typical applications include vehicle manufacturing, shipbuilding, aerospace engineering, and repair and maintenance work on aluminium structures.
