An overhead stirrer on its own requires a stand and a suitable clamp to be used on a laboratory bench. The Hei-TORQUE Gold 1 package provides precisely this combination, fully coordinated: the Hei-TORQUE Ultimate 100 drive with 100 Ncm torque, a telescopic stand and a clamp. Those new to the Hei-TORQUE range can therefore avoid having to select components individually from three options and have their stirring setup ready for immediate use.

Drive for low to medium viscosities

The Hei-TORQUE Ultimate 100 drive covers a speed range from 10 to 2,000 revolutions per minute in a single gear stage and stirs viscosities up to 60,000 mPas or volumes up to 50 l of water equivalent. Unlike the more powerful Ultimate models with two-stage gearing, it can also be operated in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions, which aids in the preparation and homogenisation of different formulations.

Telescopic stand and clamp for immediate set-up

The telescopic stand included in the package, order number 570-12100-00, securely holds the drive unit, whilst the matching clamp, order number 570-22000-00, secures the unit at the desired working height. Both components are designed for the Hei-TORQUE series, so there is no need to check compatibility between the drive, stand and clamp separately during initial set-up.

Software and interfaces as with the stand-alone unit

The drive features the same specifications as the freestanding single unit: USB and RS232 interfaces, the free Hei-Control software for remote control of up to four units, as well as ramp programming with a timer and torque trend display. A quick-release chuck with a safety ring accommodates stirring shafts up to 10.5 millimetres; the KTY temperature monitoring and automatic shut-off protect the motor during continuous operation.
