True to the motto ‘simply stir and heat’, our entry-level model, the Hei-PLATE Mix ‘n’ Heat Core, has been designed with two rotary knobs to allow direct access to the two main functions. Speed and temperature are adjusted using a scale. The maximum values are 1,400 rpm and 300 °C.
This magnetic stirrer is very easy to operate and is equipped with the most important safety features. The generous safety clearance between the heating plate and the control panel, as well as the visual residual heat warning at temperatures > 50 °C, protect against burns. A carrying handle on the underside ensures safe transport.
The heating function can be activated separately and is indicated by the LED button lighting up.
The patented Kera-Disk ® base, made of anodised aluminium, is chemical-resistant, scratch-resistant and has a diameter of 145 mm. Thanks to its unique size, it is suitable for use with a wide range of accessories and samples whilst occupying a small footprint. The material used also ensures extremely fast heating times.
