The IC basic pro 20 c is the basic package with the large bath opening. The IB 20 pro stainless steel bath is size L, and the bath opening measures 255 x 262 mm at the bottom and up to 292 x 278 mm at the upper edge. On it sits the IC basic bridge circulator with 2,500 W heating power. CL.IC cover, BS.IC bath bridge, CC1 cooling coil and PT 100.30 probe are included with the package.
Size L compared with the smaller variant
Compared with the IC basic pro 12 c the package is 641 instead of 461 mm high, and the bath opening at the bottom has a depth of 262 instead of 80 mm. Width and depth of the complete package are the same at 354 x 359 mm. The circulator is an IC basic as there, and heating power, temperature range, temperature stability and pump data are the same. The cover is called CL.IC here instead of CM.IC. The technical data apply to the circulator, overall dimensions and bath opening to the package.
Temperature and control
The circulator works from room temperature plus 10 K to 250 °C. In the stainless steel bath of the pro series, a maximum of 200 °C is permissible. External cooling allows operating temperatures down to -20 °C. Control is by PID, and the temperature stability according to DIN 12876 is ±0.02 K. The LED display shows in steps of 0.1 K, and the setting accuracy of the set temperature is likewise 0.1 K. If an external PT 100 probe is connected, the device indicates operation with an external probe.
Pump
The pressure/suction pump has variable output. It delivers up to 31 l/min at 0 bar back pressure and a pressure of at most 0.61 bar, on the suction side 0.45 bar. External consumers can be connected to the connections with thread M16x1.
Protection
Class III with FL according to DIN 12876 means suitability for flammable liquids. The safety circuit is adjustable from 0 to 260 °C, and a PT1000 probe monitors it. In addition there are low and high level protection and a warning function for over-temperature, visual and audible. Interfaces are RS 232 and Micro-USB, and a calibration option is available.
