The IKA ICC 150 lite is a compact, entry-level immersion thermostat designed to deliver maximum performance with essential functionality. The unit transforms open or semi-open bath vessels into precise temperature control systems up to 150 °C. Thanks to its integrated base and robust construction, it is ideal for use in various locations within the laboratory. The ‘lite’ designation here indicates that complex programming functions have been omitted in favour of intuitive operation, without compromising on thermal safety or pump performance.

High-performance pressure and suction pump

A highlight in this price range is the integrated PEEK pump, which functions as both a pressure and suction pump (0.3 bar pressure / 0.1 bar suction). With a flow rate of up to 15 l/min, it ensures intensive circulation for high temperature homogeneity (±0.05 K) in the internal bath. At the same time, the pump connection enables the temperature control of external, sealed applications (e.g. double-walled vessels or measuring cells).

Safety in accordance with DIN 12876

Despite its compact dimensions, the ICC 150 lite meets the high safety standards of Class III (FL). It is therefore approved for use with flammable liquids. An adjustable safety circuit, as well as over- and under-level protection (float switches), prevent critical conditions such as dry running or thermal runaway of the medium.
