The ICC basic eco 8 c (MPN 0008035700) combines the ICC basic circulator with the small IB 8 eco plastic bath of size S. Besides circulator and bath, the BS.ICC bath bridge, CS.ICC cover, PCS.ICC pump connection set and CC2 cooling coil are included. The circulator shows the temperatures on an LED display.
ICC basic circulator in detail
It is operated via push and rotary knobs. The temperature stability according to DIN 12876 is ±0.02 K, the display resolves to 0.1 K, and the set temperature can be set to an accuracy of 0.1 K. Control is by PID, a PT 100 measures the working temperature and a PT1000 the safety temperature. A carrying handle and an integrated stand are on the housing. The device is available individually as the ICC basic under ident number 0004134400.
The IB 8 eco bath
The plastic bath of size S has an opening of 188 x 105 mm at the bottom, at the upper bath edge at most 227 x 118 mm. The immersion depth is 85 to 125 mm, and the package measures 320 x 335 x 349 mm. Only water and temperatures up to 100 °C may be used in the bath, while the circulator alone reaches 150 °C.
Pump set and cooling coil
With the PCS.ICC pump connection set, the integrated pressure/suction pump can be used for external applications. The pump output is variable, and the flow rate is up to 18 l/min at 0 bar back pressure. The CC2 cooling coil is intended for temperature control below or near ambient temperature, and for the circulator the minimum operating temperature with external cooling is -20 °C. The CS.ICC cover is also included.
Warnings and protection
A safety circuit from 0 to 160 °C can be set. The device warns visually and audibly, including for over-temperature, and protects against low and high level. It complies with DIN 12876 class III and carries the marking FL. The RS 232 and Micro-USB interfaces are used for control and monitoring via the IKA labworldsoft software.
Classification in size S
The ICC control eco 8 c contains the same bath with the same accessories and additionally the PT 100.30 probe, and there the circulator has a TFT display and a temperature stability of ±0.01 K. With a plastic bath of size S and the ICC basic circulator there is also the ICC basic eco 8. A stainless steel bath of size S for temperatures up to 150 °C is available in the ICC basic pro 9 c.
