The ICC control eco 8 c (MPN 0008036100) combines the ICC control circulator with the small IB 8 eco plastic bath of size S and five accessory parts. The ICC control circulator comes with the BS.ICC bath bridge, CS.ICC cover, PCS.ICC pump connection set, CC2 cooling coil and the PT 100.30 temperature probe. The bath is approved for water only and ends at 100 °C, whereas the circulator alone works up to 150 °C.
The IB 8 eco bath in size S
The bath is made of plastic. Its opening at the bottom measures 188 x 105 mm, at the upper bath edge at most 227 x 118 mm. The immersion depth is 85 to 125 mm, and the whole package measures 320 x 335 x 349 mm. Set values up to 100 °C are possible with water, above that the range of use of the bath ends.
What comes in addition to the circulator
The ICC control circulator carries ident number 0004136600 and is also available as the standalone unit . The package additionally includes bath, bridge, cover, pump connection set, cooling coil and probe. The ICC control eco 8 with the same bath, by contrast, consists only of circulator, bath and bath bridge.
Pump, cooling coil and external cooling
The pressure/suction pump of the circulator is intended for internal and external applications, and the PCS.ICC connection set is part of the package. The pump output is variable, and the flow rate is up to 18 l/min at 0 bar back pressure. The CC2 cooling coil is used for temperature control below or near ambient temperature. For the circulator, a minimum operating temperature of -20 °C applies with external cooling.
Display, control and programs
The TFT display shows working and safety temperature, and the display resolves to 0.01 K. The temperature stability according to DIN 12876 is ±0.01 K, and the set temperature can be set to an accuracy of 0.1 K. The PT 100.30 can be operated at the connection for external temperature probes, and the display indicates operation with an external probe. In addition there are 10 individual procedures with up to 10 steps each, a carrying handle and an integrated stand.
Safety
The safety circuit is adjustable between 0 and 160 °C. Visual and audible warnings, the over-temperature warning and low and high level protection are part of the circulator. The classification is DIN 12876 class III with the marking FL.
With or without accessories, control or basic
If you need a cooling coil and pump connection, this package is the right choice. If you only want a bath with circulator, the eco 8 without c will do. The ICC basic eco 8 c comes with the same bath as well as cover, pump connection set and cooling coil, but contains the ICC basic circulator with LED display and ±0.02 K temperature stability. For temperatures above 100 °C in the bath, a package with a stainless steel bath comes into question, for example the ICC control pro 9.
