With a variable adjustment range of 0.1 to 2 µl and fine increments of 0.002 µl, this instrument enables the precise dispensing of critical reagents. The design adheres to strict ergonomic principles: the scope of delivery includes three interchangeable grips in various sizes and materials, allowing for individual adaptation to the user’s hand geometry. This significantly reduces strain during serial pipetting procedures.
Material Quality and Durability
For use in demanding laboratory environments, IKA relies on uncompromising material quality. The tip cone and piston in this model size are made of robust stainless steel. In addition, the tip cone is finished with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating, making it extremely wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant. Maintenance, calibration and sterility
The IKA PETTE vario is designed to be dismantled without tools, which significantly simplifies regular cleaning and maintenance in the laboratory. Should any adjustment be necessary, this can also be carried out without tools to ensure compliance with ISO 8655 standards. A key advantage for sterile work areas: the entire pipette is fully autoclavable (121 °C) without the need for prior disassembly. This guarantees maximum process reliability and sterility without any loss of time.
