Form-fitting temperature control without hazardous oil baths

The precise geometric adaptation to the shape of the flask ensures perfect, form-fitting heat transfer. This principle completely replaces traditional, fire-hazardous and high-maintenance silicone oil baths in the laboratory. The heating plate’s substrate, made from a highly conductive aluminium alloy, guarantees minimal heating times, whilst the non-porous, scratch-resistant ceramic coating (Kera-Disk) reliably protects the work surface from mechanical damage and highly aggressive chemical synthesis reagents.

Direct temperature control within the medium and mechanical stability

From a process engineering perspective, the Synthesis Solution 500 package ensures uncompromisingly precise temperature control directly within the liquid reaction mixture. The supplied PT1000 stainless steel temperature sensor measures the transient actual values at the centre of the flask and transmits these to the highly efficient PID microprocessor of the RCT basic. This effectively prevents the temperature from overshooting the target value. The robust stand system, consisting of a support rod and a cross-sleeve, ensures vibration-free and vertically precise positioning of the sensor, which reliably prevents measurement errors caused by accidental contact with the walls or base of the round-bottom flask.

Hermetic housing seal and enhanced safety concept

The long-term durability of the agitator drive is ensured by a sealed die-cast aluminium housing with IP 42 protection, which reliably protects the internal electronic components from spilled media. A multi-stage safety concept ensures safe unattended operation: an independently adjustable safety circuit immediately switches off the 600-watt heater in the event of an unexpected overheating. In addition, a visual residual heat indicator (Hot Top Indicator) warns laboratory staff of the risk of burns on the work surface until it has cooled down completely.
