For the IKA S 10 N - 8 G dispersing tool to operate as intended, a drive unit from the IKA ULTRA-TURRAX T 10 series (e.g. T 10 basic or T 10 digital) is required. To physically prevent abrasive wear of the internal PTFE bearings during dry running, the tool must always be immersed sufficiently deep into the sample medium (min. 20 mm) before switching on.
