The serrated teeth distinguish the IKA S 25 EC - T - C - 18 G ST from its counterpart without the suffix. They cut fibrous materials in solutions, thereby homogenising them more quickly. The rotor has a diameter of 13.4 millimetres; the gap to the 18-millimetre stator is 0.25 millimetres narrower than on the standard version.
Sensor and operating time
The unit features a temperature sensor for 0 to 125 degrees Celsius with a measurement accuracy of plus/minus 1 Kelvin. It can only be activated on the T 25 easy clean control. The drive also records the operating time and indicates on the display when maintenance is due.
Autoclavable and easy to clean
IKA recommends this autoclavable tool for dispersion applications in biochemistry and pharmaceuticals, for example for emulsifying heat-sensitive intermediates of active ingredients. In accordance with the ‘easy-clean’ principle, the shaft and rotor can be removed from the housing after turning and lowering the clamp; the shaft tube is flushed from the inside.
