The temperature sensor is located within the vessel itself: the IKA S 25 EC - T - C - 18 G measures the temperature in the vessel during dispersion, within a range of 0 to 125 degrees Celsius, with an accuracy of plus or minus 1 Kelvin. The display is controlled via the drive; the sensor function can only be activated on the T 25 easy clean control.

Operating time and maintenance

The associated T 25 easy clean digital or control disperser records the operating time of the tool. When maintenance is required, a message appears on the display.

Biochemistry and pharmaceuticals

IKA particularly recommends this autoclavable tool for dispersing applications in biochemistry and pharmaceuticals, such as the emulsification of heat-sensitive active ingredient intermediates. Cleaning follows the ‘easy-clean’ principle: turn the clamp and lower it, pull out the shaft and rotor, and rinse the shaft tube from the inside.

Materials in contact with the product are AISI 316L and ceramic; the maximum operating temperature is 120 degrees Celsius; sterilisation is permitted using all methods except hot air. The tool weighs 0.634 kilograms.
