The IKA T 25 easy clean control ULTRA-TURRAX is a high-performance disperser that sets new standards in terms of hygiene, process monitoring and user-friendliness. Its eponymous ‘easy clean’ design solves one of the most common problems in everyday laboratory work: the time-consuming cleaning of dispersing tools. A special mechanism allows the rotor to be easily extended so that the tool can be rinsed without dismantling it. This minimises the risk of contamination and saves valuable working time, particularly during frequent sample changes in medical diagnostics or cosmetics development.

Intelligent process monitoring

The “control” version goes far beyond mere mixing. In combination with compatible RFID tools (e.g. S 25 EC-T-C-18G-ST), the device automatically recognises the tool type and reads its operating data. An integrated temperature sensor in the tool also enables continuous monitoring of the medium temperature directly on the display – a crucial safety factor for heat-sensitive samples to prevent overheating. Limit values can be defined; if these are exceeded, the process is stopped.

Performance and connectivity

Powered by a brushless DC motor (500 W power consumption), the instrument not only operates wear-free and without carbon dust, but is also significantly quieter (70 dB) than previous models. The speed range of 3,000 to 25,000 rpm covers volumes from 1 ml to 2 litres (H₂O). For automated laboratory environments, a USB interface is available, via which the device can be remotely controlled and documented using labworldsoft ®.
