Counting instead of weighing: the KERN CPE 15K-3 for stock-taking and warehousing

The KERN CPE 15K-3 is a professional compact counting balance, specially developed for fast and error-free use in order picking, stocktaking or production. Where items used to be laboriously counted by hand (e.g. screws, electronic components or plastic parts), the CPE delivers the exact result in a fraction of a second. With a weighing range of 15 kg and a readability of 0.5 g, it perfectly covers the most important range of items in a small parts warehouse.

The 3-display concept: everything at a glance

The biggest advantage of a genuine counting balance over a standard balance with a counting function is the three separate displays. You can keep an eye on all the relevant values at all times without having to press any buttons:

1. Total weight: How much does the entire weighing pan weigh?
2. Reference weight: How much does a single item weigh (unit weight)?
3. Total number of items: How many items are on the scale?

The large, backlit LCD displays are easy to read even in dark warehouses.

Efficiency through memory and target function

• PLU memory: Do you frequently count the same items? The KERN CPE has 100 item memory slots (PLU) for reference weights and tare deductions. Simply call up the item at the touch of a button – this saves a huge amount of time.
• Fill-to-Target (target counting function): Do you need to pack parcels containing exactly 1,000 screws? Programme in the target quantity. An audible and visual signal alerts you as soon as the target value is reached. This prevents overfilling or underfilling.
• High mobility: Thanks to the integrated rechargeable battery (optional/standard depending on configuration – please check) and the compact design, you can take the scale straight to the shelf location.
• Robust and practical

The large stainless steel weighing plate (315 x 215 mm) is hard-wearing, easy to clean and offers enough space for counting trays or cardboard boxes. A dirt-repellent protective cover shields the keypad and housing from dust and scratches in harsh industrial environments. The counting resolution of 30,000 counts ensures that even very light parts weighing from 0.5 g are reliably measured.
