The Kern EHA 500-2 is a precise school balance specially developed for use in science lessons (biology, chemistry, physics) as well as for standard applications in laboratories and production. With a weighing range of up to 500 g and a fine readability of 0.01 g, it delivers accurate results for experiments and quality control. Its particularly slim and space-saving design makes it the ideal choice for workstations with limited space.

Durability meets hygiene

A key feature of this model is the large, shock-resistant weighing pan made of stainless steel. It is not only durable but also particularly lightweight and easy to clean hygienically – a crucial advantage in day-to-day school operations. The ABS plastic housing is robustly constructed, and the ergonomically optimised keypad with a high-contrast LCD display ensures intuitive operation that is easy for pupils to understand.

Precision and flexibility

To ensure accurate measurement results, the balance is fitted as standard with a spirit level and adjustable levelling screws, enabling precise levelling. The integrated CAL calibration programme also allows for quick checking and adjustment of accuracy using external test weights. Thanks to its optional battery operation, the EHA 500-2 can also be used flexibly on the move, without the need for a mains socket.
