Product information "KERN PCB 3000-2 Compact Laboratory Balance"
IoT-Line PCB 3000-2 Compact Laboratory Balance
Product family: PCB
The industry standard for laboratories, ideal for the wide range of possibilities offered by Industry 4.0 applications
Description
Compatible with school-specific software solutions such as Vernier ® or LabQuest ® Thanks to the KERN School Protocol, weighing data can be transferred via the USB data interface to a PC, laptop, etc. for evaluation and visualisation as part of technical experiments
Industry 4.0: The integrated KERN Universal Port (KUP) allows the connection of external KUP interface adaptors, such as RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or Ethernet. The outstanding advantage here is that the KUP interface adapters simply plug in, meaning that retrofitting interfaces is straightforward without having to open the balance housing or carry out complicated installation work. The interface adapters enable convenient transfer of weighing data to networks, PCs, smartphones, tablets, laptops, printers, etc. Furthermore, control commands and data inputs can also be sent to the balance via the connected devices. Tip: with the KERN KUP-13 extension box, up to three KUP interface adapters can be operated in parallel on the balance
KERN Communication Protocol (KCP): The KCP enables the scale to be queried and remotely controlled via external control devices or computers
Consistent, simplified operating philosophy
PRE-TARE function for manually subtracting a known container weight, useful for checking fill quantities
The recipe function allows the various components of a mixture to be weighed. The total weight of all components can be displayed for verification
Weighing with a tolerance range (checkweighing): A visual signal assists with portioning, dosing or sorting
Freely programmable weighing unit, e.g. display directly in thread length g/m, paper weight g/m², or similar
A special anti-shock system between the weighing plate and the load cell reduces vibrations during weighing, thus ensuring faster and more reliable weighing results
Safety guard included as standard
