Liebherr BCv 1103 drinks fridge, fan-assisted cooling, glass door, 75 l

Product information "Liebherr BCv 1103 drinks fridge, fan-assisted cooling, glass door, 75 l"

A well-stocked range of drinks sells itself primarily through its presentation: if customers at the bar or in a shop can see at a glance what’s chilled and within easy reach, they’re more likely to make a purchase. The Liebherr BCv 1103 combines this sales appeal with reliable cooling technology. With a net capacity of 75 litres behind an insulated glass door, it quickly brings drinks up to the right temperature and keeps them there consistently, without taking up much floor space itself. This really pays off at busy counters, where guests should hardly notice any waiting time between orders and staff can see at a glance what needs restocking.

Compact net capacity for targeted stocking

With external dimensions of 83 x 49.7 x 54.9 cm (H/W/D) and a net weight of 40.7 kg, the BCv 1103 fits under the counter, next to the till or in the bar area without disrupting workflow. The interior measures 64.9 x 41.7 x 39.1 cm and holds up to 128 x 0.2-litre bottles, 138 x 0.33-litre cans or 51 x 0.5-litre PET bottles, distributed across two plastic-coated shelves, each with a load capacity of 30 kg. When the door is open, there is a width of 49.7 cm available for access; the door hinge can be fitted on the right-hand side.

Circulating air cooling for consistent temperatures

A dynamic cooling system with forced-air circulation distributes the cold air evenly throughout the entire interior, ensuring that bottles at the front and rear reach the set temperature reliably. The cooling compartment can be set from +2 °C to +12 °C; the analogue temperature display is clearly visible inside. Automatic defrosting ensures that no ice forms during operation, which could impair cooling performance. This keeps the temperature stable within the set range, even when the door is opened frequently during service operation.

Insulated glass door as a display area

The double-glazed door with an aluminium frame keeps the contents visible at all times without customers or staff having to open the door, saving energy and speeding up access at busy counters. Longitudinal LED lighting on the right-hand side of the interior further highlights the product range. The steel housing and inner container are robust and easy to clean, whilst the mechanical lock on the recessed handle secures the contents against unauthorised access.

Economical in continuous operation

With an energy consumption of 0.854 kWh over 24 hours, or 510 kWh per year, the BCv 1103 remains economical when in continuous operation at the bar. The R 600a refrigerant, with a charge of 28 g, is considered particularly environmentally friendly. The rated current of 1.0 A at 220–240 V and 50 Hz allows operation from a standard domestic socket, whilst the 3-metre-long power cable provides sufficient flexibility for installation. As the unit does not require an active networking solution, maintenance is minimal; all that is needed is a standard socket and regular cleaning of the door and interior.

Flexible loading depending on the product range

The maximum capacity varies depending on the selection of drinks: when stocked exclusively with 0.2-litre glass bottles, the interior can hold up to 128 bottles; with 0.33-litre cans, up to 138; and with 0.5-litre PET bottles, up to 51. In practice, a mixed load is usually used, which can be flexibly adjusted using the two adjustable shelves.

Delivery and origin

Liebherr supplies the BCv 1103 packaged with dimensions of 55.0 x 60.0 x 88.7 cm and a gross weight of 43.20 kg; the net weight of the appliance when set up is 40.70 kg. Two fixed feet ensure it stands securely at its intended location. The fridge is manufactured at the Liebherr plant in Kluang.

Typical applications

Wherever drinks need to be kept chilled, visible and within easy reach directly at the serving point, the BCv 1103 makes the most of its compact design:

  • Bars and cafés: pre-chilling soft drinks, beer and non-alcoholic drinks so they are within easy reach and clearly visible
  • Shop counters and kiosks: beverage sales with direct visual promotion through the glass door
  • Hotels and restaurants: a compact addition to the minibar or as a countertop fridge
  • Canteens and break areas: self-service with a clearly arranged selection of drinks
  • Reception areas and waiting areas with limited space
