Anyone who produces large quantities of dough pieces, puff pastries or pre-baked goods for stock in a bakery needs more than just a simple freezer in the adjoining room. The Liebherr BFPSvh 6501 is a bakery freezer cabinet designed for daily use, in which sensitive goods are reliably stored at sub-zero temperatures until they are needed for further processing, and which remains stable even with frequent door openings during shift work.

Freezer storage down to -35 °C

The temperature setting range extends from -9 °C to -35 °C; the forced-air cooling system distributes the cold air evenly throughout the entire interior, preventing the formation of cold and warmer zones. The temperature is displayed digitally on the outside, allowing the setpoint to be checked without opening the door. A visual and audible warning signal alerts you to faults at an early stage, before the stored goods are damaged – which is worth its weight in gold, particularly when dealing with larger batches of dough products.

Chrome-nickel steel inside and out

The housing, door and inner chamber are made entirely of chrome-nickel steel (1.4301 / AISI 304). This places the BFPSvh 6501 in the ‘Perfection’ cluster category and makes it resistant to the harsh daily cleaning conditions of a bakery, with flour dust, moisture and frequent wiping. The smooth stainless steel surfaces are easy to clean, thereby also facilitating hygiene checks during day-to-day production.

602-litre capacity and 20 shelves

With a gross capacity of 602 litres and a net capacity of 380 litres, the cabinet offers ample space for baking trays measuring 400 x 600 mm when loaded lengthways. A total of 20 height-adjustable shelves are available, allowing the load to be flexibly adapted to containers and vessels of varying heights. An LED light strip on the left-hand side of the interior ensures that everything remains clearly visible, even when the door is open and in darker storage rooms.

Connectivity and day-to-day operation

The Wi-Fi/LAN interface is already integrated and fitted as a removable unit, allowing the freezer to be integrated into an existing temperature monitoring system without the need to retrofit additional hardware. The four levelling feet are height-adjustable between 115 and 175 mm, ensuring the freezer stands securely and level even on uneven warehouse floors. The door hinge can be switched to the right; the lock operates purely mechanically and is therefore independent of mains power or batteries.

Designed for continuous operation

With a net weight of 138.3 kg and a unit height of 211.5 cm, the BFPSvh 6501 is clearly designed for stationary, continuous use in production environments, rather than for occasional relocation. The R 290 refrigerant, with a charge of 105 g, operates at a connected load of just 4.0 A, making the cabinet electrically economical even for kitchens with limited circuit protection.

Typical applications

The BFPSvh 6501 is suitable for bakeries and patisseries that deep-freeze and store dough pieces, puff pastries or pre-baked goods in large quantities, as well as for central kitchens and suppliers that deliver frozen goods to multiple branches. In catering businesses with their own in-house baking facilities, it also provides buffer storage between production and delivery, for example when orders are not delivered until the following day. And in large bakeries with multi-stage production, it serves as a handover point between dough production and subsequent processing, without interrupting the cold chain in between.
