Bakeries are often hot, dusty and run to a tight schedule. Nevertheless, cream cakes, fresh produce and confectionery require refrigeration that preserves rather than dries them out. The Liebherr BRPSvh 8401 is a bakery refrigerator made entirely of stainless steel, with a net capacity of 700 litres and dynamic cooling, which is tailored precisely to these requirements and maintains a reliable temperature even during continuous operation, with doors open and varying loads.

Dynamic rather than static cooling

The dynamic cooling system in the BRPSvh 8401 cools more gently than a fixed airflow system and treats sensitive products such as cream fillings or fresh cream with greater care. The temperature range extends from -5 °C to +14 °C and can therefore be adjusted to suit a wide variety of baked goods, depending on what is currently being stored and how sensitive the product in question is.

Constructed entirely from stainless steel

The housing, door and inner chamber are made entirely of chrome-nickel steel (1.4301 / AISI 304). This makes the cabinet hygienic, easy to clean and resistant to the harsh environment of a bakery, with its flour dust and frequent contact with water. It is approved for operation at ambient temperatures of up to 40 °C, making it suitable for locations directly next to the oven.

Space for 25 trays

The L-shaped chrome-nickel steel support rails accommodate up to 25 shelves, each with a load capacity of up to 60 kg, designed for tray dimensions of 600 x 800 mm. An LED light strip on the left-hand side ensures good visibility right to the back of the cabinet when stocking, without the need for additional external lighting.

Networking is already built in

Unlike smaller models in the range, the Wi-Fi/LAN interface is already integrated into the BRPSvh 8401 and can be removed. For businesses wishing to monitor their cold chain digitally and detect faults at an early stage, this eliminates the need for retrofitting at a later date.

Safe even during operation

A visual and audible warning signal immediately alerts the user to any deviations, whilst the mechanical lock and reversible door hinge can be adapted to the layout of the bakery. Height-adjustable feet compensate for uneven floors within a range of 115 to 175 mm, which is particularly helpful when retrofitting the unit into existing premises.

Plan delivery and installation realistically

When packed, the BRPSvh 8401 measures approximately 830 x 1050 x 2220 mm and has a gross weight of 162 kg. Before ordering the unit, it is worth checking door widths, lift capacity and the final metre to the intended location, as a cabinet of this size cannot be carried by one person alone and should be delivered using appropriate equipment.

Typical applications

The BRPSvh 8401 is suitable for bakeries and patisseries that temporarily store cream cakes, cream-based products or fresh fillings; for hotel bakeries with their own patisserie; for catering businesses with a patisserie section; and for branch bakeries selling fresh products directly on the premises. This model is also suitable as a central refrigeration unit for the temporary storage of several product groups in a larger patisserie.
