Robust stainless steel lid for continuous use

The stainless steel lid makes the EFL 3056 resistant to scratches, knocks and the daily wear and tear of catering operations. It can also be used as a hygienic, easy-to-clean surface during peak times, for example to temporarily set down a tray or a box. The rest of the housing is made of steel, whilst the inner container is made of pre-coated steel, which is also easy to clean and withstands moisture and occasional use of cleaning agents well.

FrostProtect: reliable even at sub-zero temperatures

Thanks to its FrostProtect design, the EFL 3056 is rated for ambient temperatures ranging from -15 °C to +43 °C. The unit can therefore also be operated in unheated storage rooms, cellars or garages without any loss of performance. The static cooling system, which uses the refrigerant R 600a (55 g charge), maintains a stable internal temperature between -14 °C and -24 °C; the temperature is displayed on an analogue gauge on the outside.

Features and safety

Two hanging baskets organise the contents and make it easier to keep track of different varieties or batches, for example when ice cream, ready meals and snacks need to be stored separately. Bright LED interior lighting ensures a clear view right down to the base of the chest even when the lid is open, whilst a mechanical lock in the recessed handle protects the goods from unauthorised access outside opening hours. Defrosting is carried out manually, which is the standard practice for a static freezer of this size in the catering sector and requires no additional technology inside the unit.

Compact design for small and medium-sized businesses

With external dimensions of 82.5 x 104.5 x 71 cm (H/W/D), the EFL 3056 fits even where a large chest freezer is not an option, such as in smaller kitchens, at sales counters or in ancillary rooms. Those who regularly need to store larger quantities of frozen goods or are looking for more shelf space for custom branding will find the larger EFL 6055 (542 l gross volume) to be the ideal model for higher throughput. The EFL 3056 remains the right choice when compact dimensions and a manageable range of storage options with two baskets are the priority.

Energy-efficient in continuous operation

With an annual energy consumption of around 185 kWh, the running costs of the EFL 3056 are easy to calculate, particularly when several units are operating simultaneously in a kitchen or retail outlet. The connected load of 1.5 A at 220-240 V and 50 Hz allows it to be operated from a standard domestic socket; a separate high-voltage connection is not required.

Robust construction for professional use

The EFL 3056 is manufactured at the Liebherr plant in Kluang, one of the company’s production sites for commercial refrigeration and freezer units. Together with its durable stainless steel lid and pre-coated steel inner container, the unit is designed for daily use in the catering and retail sectors, rather than for occasional use in private households.
