Large-capacity deep-freeze storage for practical use

With a gross capacity of 404 l, the EFL 4655 offers noticeably more storage space than more compact chest freezers, without taking up an excessive amount of floor space with external dimensions of 82.5 x 146.5 x 71 cm (H/W/D) taking up an excessive amount of floor space. The robust white steel housing is designed for a long service life under intensive daily use. Two included hanging baskets help to organise smaller frozen items so they are within easy reach, rather than having to search for them throughout the interior.

Versatile use even at high ambient temperatures

The EFL 4655 is designed for ambient temperatures ranging from -15 °C to +43 °C and is therefore also suitable for installation in locations without continuous air conditioning, such as in storage rooms, open-air areas or market stalls. The static cooling system, which uses the refrigerant R 600a (65 g charge), reliably maintains the temperature within the range of -14 °C to -24 °C, with an analogue display on the outside for monitoring at a glance.

Safety and ease of use

The integrated mechanical lock in the ergonomic recessed handle ensures the security of the stored goods. The interior, made of pre-coated steel, is hygienic and easy to clean thanks to its smooth surfaces; defrosting is carried out manually as required. An LED interior light ensures excellent visibility, even in darker storage areas. With an annual energy consumption of 236 kWh, operation remains cost-effective.

Organisation inside the unit

Two supplied hanging baskets organise the interior and separate smaller, frequently accessed items from larger packs. This makes it easier to keep track of stock during day-to-day operations and reduces the time staff spend searching inside the unit, a particular advantage during peak times at the counter or on the shop floor.

Cost-effective and easy to maintain in everyday use

With an annual energy consumption of 236 kWh, the EFL 4655 is low for its size, which has a noticeable impact on electricity costs over the appliance’s lifetime when it is in continuous operation. As defrosting is carried out manually, it is advisable to check the interior regularly: As soon as a thin layer of ice forms, it can be easily removed during the next stock rotation before it noticeably impairs cooling performance. The smooth surface of the pre-coated inner liner further facilitates this routine maintenance. Combined with the ergonomic recessed handle and the robust steel housing, the EFL 4655 therefore remains easy to maintain even after years of daily use, without the need for special tools or external servicing, which significantly simplifies day-to-day operation and reduces downtime.

Liebherr supplies the EFL 4655 packaged with dimensions of 147.4 x 72.0 x 84.9 cm and a gross weight of 90.00 kg; the net weight of the unit when set up is 81.00 kg. The chest freezer is manufactured at the Liebherr plant in Kluang.
