The Liebherr EFL 6055 is the largest model in the EFL series within this range and, with a gross volume of 542 l, offers enormous space for storing large quantities without the need to operate several smaller units simultaneously. It is designed for intensive use in the catering, hospitality and wholesale sectors.

Maximum capacity for commercial and wholesale use

With a volume of 542 l and external dimensions of 82.5 x 188.5 x 71 cm (H/W/D), the EFL 6055 offers significantly more storage space than smaller chests in the same series. The robust steel housing and sturdy steel lid are built to last and can withstand even heavy use in continuous operation. Three hanging baskets ensure organised storage of different product groups.

FrostProtect: reliable at any temperature

Thanks to its FrostProtect design, the EFL 6055 is suitable for ambient temperatures ranging from -15 °C to +43 °C. This makes it the ideal choice for unheated storage rooms, garages or cellars. The static cooling system, using the refrigerant R 600a (charge: 104 g), maintains a constant internal temperature between -14 °C and -24 °C, displayed on an analogue gauge on the outside.

Customised product display and branding

The EFL 6055 offers scope for customised branding and presents snacks, ice cream or convenience products in a clear and organised manner, making it an attractive option not only for storage but also as a retail display unit. For businesses wishing to showcase their brand at the point of sale, the generous format offers correspondingly more space than smaller models in the range, for example, for stickers, banderoles or a customised lid design in their own corporate colours.

Convenience and safety in a large format

Despite its width of almost 1.90 metres, access to the goods can be organised efficiently thanks to the three hanging baskets; each basket can be reserved for a specific product group. The mechanical lock in the recessed handle protects stock from unauthorised access outside opening hours, whilst bright LED lighting inside ensures a clear view right down to the base of the chest. The inner container, made of pre-coated steel, is robust and easy to clean; defrosting is carried out manually, as is standard for static chest freezers of this size.

Energy-efficient despite its large capacity

With an annual energy consumption of around 277 kWh, the running costs of the EFL 6055 remain manageable despite its large interior. The connected load is 1.5 A at 220-240 V, 50 Hz, meaning the unit can be operated from a standard domestic socket without the need for a high-voltage connection, an advantage when installing it in existing kitchens or retail spaces.

Robust construction for professional use

Like the smaller EFL 3056, the EFL 6055 is also manufactured at the Liebherr plant in Kluang, one of the production sites for commercial refrigeration and freezer units. The net weight of 89 kg and the sturdy steel construction demonstrate that the appliance is designed for long-term, professional use rather than occasional domestic use.
