Circulating air cooling for consistent temperatures

The forced-air cooling system distributes the cold air evenly throughout the entire interior, ensuring there are no warmer zones between the shelves. The automatic defrosting system keeps maintenance to a minimum, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. The temperature is displayed digitally on the outside and can be adjusted continuously between -9 °C and -26 °C, with a permissible ambient temperature range of +10 °C to 40 °C. In the event of a fault, the unit alerts staff visually and audibly, allowing kitchen staff to react quickly before produce is damaged.

Practical interior design for everyday kitchen use

The interior is designed for the crosswise insertion of 600 x 400 mm containers and offers five shelving levels, four of which are height-adjustable, allowing the load to be adapted to packages of varying heights. The white plastic inner liner is smooth and has few seams, making it easy to clean – an important factor for daily kitchen hygiene and compliance with HACCP requirements. The aluminium handle fits comfortably in the hand, and the door can be opened on the right or left thanks to a reversible hinge, allowing it to be adapted to the layout of the premises. Four height-adjustable feet (150 to 180 mm) compensate for uneven floors.

Robust construction for continuous operation

The cabinet and door are made entirely of steel and are therefore designed for daily, often multi-shift use in professional kitchens. The mechanical lock provides additional security for the contents when the cabinet needs to remain locked outside operating hours. Combined with automatic defrosting and visual and audible fault alerts, this significantly reduces the maintenance workload during operation.

Connection and power specifications

The FFFvg 5501 operates at 220 to 240 V with a rated current of 2.0 A and is supplied with a 3-metre-long connection cable, allowing for flexible positioning in the kitchen. The natural refrigerant R 290 is used, with a charge of 60 g. A Wi-Fi/LAN interface can be retrofitted if required to monitor the temperature remotely. Energy consumption is 2,758 kWh per 24 hours or 1,007 kWh per year; the unit is listed under EPREL registration number 2495810.
