Store large quantities of frozen goods safely and hygienically without wasting time on manual defrosting: that is exactly what the Liebherr FFPSvg 1402 does. With an exterior made entirely of chrome-nickel steel, this commercial freezer cabinet with forced-air cooling keeps 1,096 litres of net capacity organised, even in busy professional kitchens. Thanks to NoFrost, no ice forms inside the unit, completely eliminating the need for tedious defrosting.

Stainless steel inside and out for high hygiene standards

The housing, door and inner compartment are made entirely from chrome-nickel steel 1.4301 (AISI 304). This choice of material facilitates cleaning and is designed to meet the hygiene requirements of professional kitchens. The temperature control range extends from -9 °C to -26 °C; the cabinet can be operated at ambient temperatures of +10 °C to 40 °C. The digital display is located on the outside of the unit, and a visual and audible signal alerts the user in the event of a fault.

Castors or levelling feet: choose the right installation option

The FFPSvg 1402 is available with either castors or five height-adjustable levelling feet (115 to 175 mm). With castors, the unit is 215 cm high and has a net weight of 199.8 kg; however, this makes it easy to move out of the way for cleaning the floor or when relocating it. With levelling feet, the height is reduced to 211.5 cm with a net weight of 197.1 kg; in return, the unit can be precisely levelled and remains stable even on uneven surfaces. Those who frequently clean around the cabinet are better off with the castors, whilst those who need a firm, stable base should opt for the levelling feet.

NoFrost: automatic defrosting saves time

The forced-air cooling system, combined with the automatic NoFrost defrosting process, permanently prevents ice build-up inside the cabinet. Unlike with statically cooled units, the kitchen team does not need to defrost the cabinet regularly or temporarily rearrange the contents, which saves a considerable amount of time, particularly with a net capacity of over 1,000 litres. The even air distribution also ensures that goods stored further back remain reliably at the correct temperature, rather than thawing in the warmer peripheral areas of the cabinet.

The FFPSvg 1402 is suitable for commercial kitchens, chain restaurants and catering businesses with a high throughput of frozen goods, for bakeries and patisseries with large-scale pre-production, as well as for hospitals and canteens that need to reliably stock large quantities. Interior layout and loading

The GN 2/1 (530 x 650 mm) longitudinal insert accommodates standard Gastronorm containers; all six shelves are infinitely height-adjustable and can therefore be adapted to different container sizes. LED ceiling lighting ensures good visibility even when the unit is fully loaded, whilst the handle strip and mechanical lock make operation in everyday kitchen use simple and safe. Both doors are fixed in place (left-hand and right-hand doors), which is typical of the double-door design of this large storage cabinet and ensures wide, unobstructed access to the entire interior when opened.
