In a commercial kitchen, where the door of the refrigerated storage cabinet is opened several times an hour to fill or remove GN containers for the next service, the temperature must nevertheless remain stable. The Liebherr FRPSvg 1402 is designed precisely for this kind of continuous operation: With a gross capacity of 1,360 litres and six heavy-duty shelving levels, this commercial fridge offers ample space for GN 2/1-format dishes, whilst its HACCP-compliant electronics maintain the temperature precisely even when the door is opened frequently. The fridge is available with either adjustable feet or castors, allowing it to be adapted to any kitchen layout.

Rapid cooling thanks to modern refrigeration components

Dynamic cooling using the climate-friendly refrigerant R 290 cools stored food particularly quickly to the set temperature. The temperature setting range extends from -2 °C to +15 °C; the temperature is displayed digitally on the outside, allowing it to be read without opening the door. In the event of a fault, the unit issues both visual and audible warnings.

Hygienic and robust: stainless steel inside and out

The housing, door and interior compartment are made entirely of chrome-nickel steel (1.4301 / AISI 304). The material is easy to clean and disinfect, which is important in the catering industry where different foods are handled on a daily basis. The six shelves, made from plastic-coated wire mesh, each support up to 60 kg and can be flexibly used for GN 2/1 containers in a longitudinal loading configuration (530 x 650 mm).

Adjustable feet or castors: choose the right set-up

With levelling feet, the FRPSvg 1402 stands firmly and can be precisely aligned during assembly; the height is 211.5 cm, whilst the five feet themselves are adjustable from 115 to 175 mm. The version with castors is 215 cm high – around 3.5 cm taller – and can be easily moved away to clean the floor or to relocate the unit. Both versions feature the same internal technology and the same net capacity; the choice is purely a matter of kitchen logistics.

Operation and connectivity

The handle, in the form of a continuous handle strip, allows the door to be opened even when your hands are full, whilst the mechanical lock provides additional security for the contents. Via the optional retrofittable Wi-Fi/LAN interface, the fridge can be integrated into a networked system, for example to centrally document temperature trends and react quickly to any deviations. The 3-metre-long power cable provides additional flexibility when installing the unit, even if the socket is a little further away.

Designed for continuous operation in commercial kitchens

The FRPSvg 1402 is designed for an ambient temperature of +10 °C to 40 °C and can therefore also be installed in locations near hobs or dishwashing stations where temperatures rise. With a rated current of 4.0 A at 220 to 240 volts, it can be easily connected to existing kitchen wiring. The automatic defrosting process reduces the workload for kitchen staff during operation.
