The Liebherr SFFsg 5501 is a professional laboratory freezer from the Performance Series, designed for reliable cryogenic storage in laboratory and research environments. With a gross capacity of 499 litres, it offers a robust solution for the safe storage of sensitive substances.

Precise low-temperature storage & control

The static cooling system ensures stable storage within a temperature range of -9 °C to -30 °C. The electronics guarantee high temperature stability with a maximum fluctuation of just ±5 °C. Operation is precise and modern via a monochrome display with touch buttons.

SmartFrost technology for reduced maintenance

Thanks to SmartFrost technology, frost build-up on the interior and on the frozen goods is significantly reduced. The benefit: manual defrosting is required less frequently. The smooth, seamless interior walls are also extremely easy to clean and contribute to high energy efficiency.

Robust construction and flexible storage

The interior is fitted with four adjustable, plastic-coated shelves, each with an extremely high load capacity of 60 kg. This allows for flexible and safe storage, even of heavy containers. The antimicrobial handle with opening mechanism and the mechanical lock ensure safe and hygienic handling.

Comprehensive alarm and monitoring functions

To ensure sample safety, the unit is fitted with a visual and audible fault alarm as well as a power failure alarm (triggered when power is restored). A potential-free contact is integrated as standard. The unit is also prepared for connection to external monitoring systems (Wi-Fi/LAN) via the retrofittable SmartModule.
