The Liebherr SFFvh 5501 is a professional laboratory freezer from the Perfection series, designed for demanding storage requirements in laboratory and pharmaceutical settings. It combines a large storage capacity with advanced NoFrost technology and meets the criteria of DIN 13277 (freezers for laboratory use).

NoFrost technology for maintenance-free operation

A standout feature is the professional NoFrost technology. Any moisture that forms is absorbed by the dynamic recirculating air cooling system, and the unit defrosts fully automatically. The benefit: the interior remains ice-free at all times, and manual defrosting is completely eliminated. This saves working time, improves temperature stability and ensures safe, uninterrupted storage.

Precise control and compliance with DIN 13277

The unit ensures stable storage within the low-temperature range of -9 °C to -35 °C. It is operated precisely via a modern 2.4-inch colour display with a ‘Touch & Swipe’ function. The unit meets all the necessary performance criteria of DIN 13277.

Flexible storage and LED lighting

The interior is brightly and evenly illuminated by a side-mounted LED light strip. Storage is highly flexible, with four plastic-coated shelves, each capable of supporting 60 kg, supplemented by six drawers and two baskets.

Integrated connectivity and comprehensive alerting

The unit is ideally equipped for comprehensive documentation and monitoring: an integrated data logger (via USB interface) records temperatures. The integrated Wi-Fi/LAN interface enables direct connection to external systems such as Liebherr SmartMonitoring. A visual and audible fault alarm, a power failure alarm (min. 12 hours) and a potential-free contact round off the safety package.
