Liebherr SRFfg 3501 laboratory refrigerator, 344 L, ignition-source-free (ATEX)

The Liebherr SRFfg 3501 is a professional laboratory refrigeration unit from the Performance Series, designed specifically for the storage of flammable and explosive substances. The unit combines a high-performance dynamic cooling system with a certified, ignition-source-free interior.

Certified explosion protection (ATEX)

The key feature of this unit is its ignition-source-free interior. It complies with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU (classification II 3 G Ex ec IIC T6). This certifies the unit for the safe storage of flammable substances in sealed containers that could create explosive atmospheres.

Dynamic cooling and high temperature stability

The dynamic (recirculating air) cooling system ensures a highly uniform distribution of cold air throughout the entire interior and a maximum temperature deviation of just ±3°C. The temperature range is flexibly adjustable from +3 °C to +16 °C and is controlled via a modern monochrome display with touch buttons.

+2°C SafetyDevice for frost protection

To prevent sensitive samples from freezing, the SRFfg 3501 is equipped with the +2°C SafetyDevice. If, in the event of a fault, the temperature drops below +2°C, the system takes control, stabilises the temperature and activates the alarm.

Comprehensive alarm and monitoring functions

To ensure seamless monitoring, the unit is fitted with a visual and audible fault alarm, as well as a mains failure alarm (triggered when mains power is restored). A potential-free contact is integrated as standard. The unit is also prepared for connection to external monitoring systems (Wi-Fi/LAN) via the retrofittable SmartModule.
