Liebherr SRFvg 5501 Laboratory Refrigerator, 558 L, forced-air cooling

The Liebherr SRFvg 5501 is a large-capacity laboratory refrigerator from the Performance Series, designed for the reliable storage of samples and materials in day-to-day laboratory work. With a gross volume of 558 litres, it offers plenty of space and combines a powerful dynamic cooling system with key safety features.

Dynamic cooling for consistent temperatures

The dynamic (forced-air) cooling system ensures rapid cooling and a highly uniform distribution of cold air throughout the entire interior. The temperature range can be flexibly adjusted from +3 °C to +16 °C and is controlled via a monochrome display with touch buttons.

+2°C SafetyDevice for frost protection

To prevent sensitive samples from freezing, the SRFvg 5501 is equipped with the +2°C SafetyDevice. If, in the event of a fault, the temperature drops below +2°C (when set to +5°C or warmer), the system takes control, stabilises the temperature and activates the alarm.

Flexible and robust storage

The white plastic inner container is easy to clean. The unit is fitted with five adjustable shelves, which are plastic-coated and have a high load capacity of 60 kg per shelf. This also allows for the storage of heavy containers with a maximum total load of 300 kg.

Alarms and networking

Safety is ensured by a visual and audible fault alarm, as well as a power failure alarm (when power is restored). A dry contact is integrated. Using the retrofittable SmartModule, the unit can be integrated into monitoring systems via Wi-Fi/LAN.
