Macherey-Nagel NANOCOLOR CSB 4000 round-bottomed cuvette test, 985011

Product information "Macherey-Nagel NANOCOLOR CSB 4000 round-bottomed cuvette test, 985011"

Chemical oxygen demand (COD) is one of the most important parameters for the assessment of industrial and municipal effluents. The NANOCOLOR COD 4000 round-cell test from Macherey-Nagel delivers precise, time-saving results when used in conjunction with the appropriate NANOCOLOR photometers.

Wide measuring range for highly contaminated samples

The test covers a measurement range of 400–4000 mg/L O₂ and is therefore particularly suitable for samples with a high organic load. The method is based on the potassium dichromate procedure and is in accordance with DIN ISO 15705 – H45, EPA 410.4, APHA 5220 D and DIN 38409 – H41-1.

Compatible with standard NANOCOLOR photometers

The test can be analysed on the 500 D, Advance, PF-3 COD, PF-12Plus, UV/VIS II and VIS II instruments – including the NANOCOLOR VIS II (item no. 919650.1) and NANOCOLOR Advance (item no. 919750) spectrophotometers already available in the LT range.

Scope of application

The test is designed for wastewater, sewage sludge and water samples. A sturdy box containing 20 round cuvettes is sufficient for 20 determinations. When stored at 15–25 °C, the shelf life from the date of manufacture is 1 year.
