Non-ionic surfactants (detergents) enter wastewater and water bodies via cleaning products and laundry detergents – monitoring their levels is a standard parameter in water analysis. The NANOCOLOR Non-ionic Surfactants 15 round-cell test from Macherey-Nagel delivers precise, time-saving results when used in conjunction with the appropriate NANOCOLOR photometers.
Precise method for low concentrations
The test covers a measurement range of 0.3–15.0 mg/L of Triton®X-100 and operates according to the TBPE method.
Compatible with standard NANOCOLOR photometers
The test can be analysed on the 500 D, Advance, PF-12Plus, UV/VIS II and VIS II instruments – including the NANOCOLOR VIS II (item no. 919650.1) and NANOCOLOR Advance (item no. 919750) spectrophotometers already available in the LT range.
Scope of application
The test is highly versatile: it can be used for wastewater, groundwater, surface water, process water and drinking water. A sturdy box containing 20 round cuvettes is sufficient for 20 analyses. When stored at 15–25 °C, the shelf life from the date of manufacture is 2 years.
