A complete kit for soil analysis in the field and in the laboratory
The Macherey-Nagel VISOCOLOR soil kit combines test strips, test kits and accessories for the reliable analysis of soil samples in a robust, portable case. It contains all the components required for the preparation of extracts from soil samples – suitable for use both directly in the field and in the laboratory.
Two parameters, multiple concentration ranges
Included are pH-Fix 2.0–9.0 (100 tests, graduated in 0.5 increments from pH 2.0 to 9.0) and QUANTOFIX Ammonium (100 tests, graduated at 0/10/25/50/100/200/400 mg/L NH₄⁺) for determining ammonium in soil extracts. A VISOCOLOR ECO pH-4.0–9.0 refill pack containing 450 tests is also included, ensuring sufficient test capacity is available even with intensive use.
Robust equipment for field use
Accessories include, amongst other things, shaking flasks, wide-necked flasks, measuring cylinders, beakers, a soil sieve (2 mm mesh size) and a digital pocket balance. Chemical solutions (CaCl₂, CAL, pyrophosphate) and pleated filters (MN 616) for extract preparation are also included.
