Memmert ICO150 CO₂ incubator, 156 L, with TwinDISPLAY

The Memmert ICO150 is a high-end CO₂ incubator specially designed to protect cell cultures, bacterial cultures and tissue cultures in research laboratories. With a generous chamber volume of 156 litres, it offers plenty of space and, thanks to state-of-the-art control technology, guarantees an absolutely constant atmosphere.

Uncompromising hygiene & sterilisation

To reliably prevent contamination, the ICO150 features a validatable sterilisation programme: the entire interior, including all fittings and sensors, can be sterilised in a 60-minute cycle at +180 °C. The deep-drawn interior, made from electropolished stainless steel (grade 1.4301), is seamlessly welded and features rounded corners, which makes cleaning extremely easy.

Precise control with TwinDISPLAY

The intuitive ControlCOCKPIT, featuring two high-resolution TFT colour graphic displays (TwinDISPLAY), allows for the precise setting and monitoring of temperature, CO₂ concentration and humidity. A key safety feature is the integrated battery backup: in the event of a power cut, the control unit, data logging and CO₂ control remain fully operational.

Precise atmosphere & humidity control

CO₂ control is achieved via a drift-free dual-beam NDIR measurement system in the range from 0 to 20 per cent. A standard Peltier element limits the relative humidity to 93 per cent RH (+/- 2.5 per cent) to effectively prevent condensation. Optionally (with module K7), active humidification control from 40 to 97% RH is available.
