Memmert ICO150med CO₂ incubator, 156 L, TwinDISPLAY | Class IIa medical device

The Memmert ICO150med is a certified CO₂ incubator (Class IIa medical device) that has been specially developed for in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and the cultivation of cells, bacteria and tissues. With a generous chamber volume of 156 litres, it offers maximum capacity and precision for demanding laboratory applications.

Maximum safety & hygiene

The unit features a validatable sterilisation programme: the entire interior, including all fittings and sensors, can be sterilised in a 60-minute programme at +180 °C. The deep-drawn interior made of electropolished stainless steel (grade 1.4301) with rounded corners allows for easy cleaning and prevents the build-up of bacteria.

Precise control with TwinDISPLAY

The intuitive ControlCOCKPIT, featuring two high-resolution TFT colour graphic displays, allows for the precise setting and monitoring of all parameters. Thanks to the integrated battery backup, the control unit, logging system and CO₂ control remain fully functional even in the event of a power cut, guaranteeing maximum data security.

Precise atmosphere & humidity control

CO₂ control is achieved via a drift-free dual-beam NDIR measurement system in the range from 0 to 20 per cent. As standard, a Peltier element limits the relative humidity to 93 per cent rh (+/- 2.5 per cent) to effectively prevent condensation. Optionally (with module K7), active humidification control from 40 to 97 per cent rh is available.
