The Memmert IF160plus is a precision incubator with forced air circulation (convection), specially designed for applications requiring uniform temperature distribution. With a generous chamber volume of 161 litres, this model is ideal for research, medicine, pharmaceuticals and food technology, where organic samples need to be heated particularly gently.

Intelligent control: ControlCOCKPIT with TwinDISPLAY

Operation is intuitive via the ControlCOCKPIT with TwinDISPLAY. This adaptive PID microprocessor controller with a high-resolution TFT colour graphic display allows precise adjustment of temperature, fan speed and air damper position via touch. The digital countdown timer can be set from 1 minute to 99 days.

Perfect temperature distribution through forced-air circulation

Unlike static models, the IF160plus ensures rapid and even heat distribution throughout the entire interior thanks to its adjustable air turbine. The fan speed and the fresh air supply via the electronic exhaust air flap can be finely adjusted in 10% increments. The SetpointWAIT function guarantees reliable process operations: the process time only starts once the setpoint temperature has actually been reached at the sensor.

Hygienic stainless steel design & safety

Both the textured housing and the interior are made of high-quality, stainless steel (grade 1.4301), which is extremely robust, scratch-resistant and easy to clean. A fully insulated stainless steel door with a 2-point locking mechanism and an internal glass door allow the samples to be observed without a significant drop in temperature. Safety is ensured by an adjustable electronic temperature monitor and a mechanical temperature limiter TB (protection class 1).
