Memmert stainless steel perforated tray E37418 for sizes 105 and 150

Pre-order: The ICO105 is part of the new ICO NextGen series. It is available as a pre-order. With an internal volume of 108 litres, the Memmert ICO105 NextGen CO₂ incubator is a medium-sized model in the new NextGen series, offering, according to Memmert, one litre more capacity than the previous ICO105 from the 2012 generation. For laboratories that incubate several culture batches in parallel or require more space than the entry-level ICO50 offers, this size provides ample capacity without having to opt for the next larger model straight away. A touchscreen instead of two separate screens Instead of the previous TwinDISPLAY with two separate TFT screens, the ICO105 NextGen displays actual and target values as well as parameter trends on a 6.86-inch IPS touchscreen with multi-touch functionality (480 x 1280 pixels). Temperature and CO₂ control The temperature can be set from +20 to +50 °C; the operating range extends from at least 5 °C above room temperature up to +50 °C, with a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C. At 37 °C, the temporal temperature fluctuation is ±0.1 K, and the spatial fluctuation is ±0.3 K. CO₂ control covers 0 to 20 % CO₂ as standard, with a setting accuracy of 0.1 % and a temporal fluctuation of ±0.2 % CO₂. Humidity and O₂ as an extension A stainless-steel water tray is supplied as standard. Option K7 extends the ICO105 to include active humidity control from 40 to 98 % rh, including a ‘rh off’ function, with a setting accuracy of 0.1 % rh, utilising a self-priming micro-dosing pump with a hot steam generator for humidification and a diaphragm pump for dehumidification. Option T6 (requires Option K7) additionally controls the oxygen concentration via nitrogen injection in the range 1 to 20 % O₂, with an accuracy of 0.1 %. Glass doors and battery storage as additional options Unlike the smaller ICO50, the ICO105 offers Option K4: two internal doors with glass panels instead of the solid stainless-steel door, which is practical for a quick glance inside the unit without altering the internal climate. Also available as an option is an integrated battery storage unit (Option C2), which allows the display unit to continue operating without interruption in the event of a power cut, ensuring seamless documentation of all parameters even during a power cut. Sterilisation without removing sensors A pre-programmed cycle sterilises the interior in 60 minutes at +180 °C without the need to remove the sensors beforehand. Interior, door and shelves The deep-drawn interior is made of stainless steel grade 1.4301 (ASTM 304). The fully insulated stainless steel door closes with a 2-point compression lock and features an internal glass door. A stainless steel perforated shelf is supplied as standard; up to 5 shelves can be fitted, with a maximum load of 15 kg per shelf and 75 kg per unit. Interfaces and software The ICO105 NextGen features USB-C and Ethernet LAN. The chargeable software application myChamber LIMS is available for connection to a LIMS, whilst the connectivity package for the myChamber Monitoring App is available for permanent remote monitoring. For electronic signatures according to 21 CFR Part 11, the basic licence FDAQ1 for AtmoCONTROL FDA and myChamber Control FDA can be added. None of the three options is included as standard. Operation and connected load specifications The ICO105 NextGen is rated for 230 V, 50/60 Hz; Option X2 converts it to 115 V at no extra cost, and the power consumption is approximately 1,450 W. The textured stainless steel housing measures 708 x 683 x 589 mm (width x height x depth), plus a 50 mm allowance for the door handle; the internal dimensions are 560 x 480 x 400 mm. The net weight is 70 kg; when packed, it weighs 85 kg. Other sizes in the ICO NextGen series In addition to the ICO105 (108 litres), we offer the ICO50 (56 litres) for smaller batches, as well as the ICO180 (177 litres, according to Memmert the successor to the previous ICO150) and the ICO240 (243 litres) for higher throughput, each featuring the same operating concept. The Memmert Humidity Chamber HCP105 comes with two stainless steel perforated trays from the factory, and up to six shelves are possible. The internal volume is 107 litres, and the interior measures 560 x 480 x 400 mm (W x H x D, depth reduced by 35 mm for the fan). Temperature and relative humidity are actively controlled: +18 to +90 °C and 20 to 95 % rh, also settable with rh-Off. Operation is via the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY.Housing, weight and loadingExternally the HCP105 measures 719 x 850 x 591 mm plus 56 mm door handle, and the net weight is approx. 75 kg. The whole unit may be loaded with 90 kg, and each of the six possible shelves with 15 kg. The interior is made of stainless steel 1.4301 (ASTM 304). Behind the outer door sits a heated inner glass door, and the outer door is fully insulated and has 2-point locking. For supply lines there is a humidity-tight silicone feedthrough with 40 mm inner diameter in the rear wall, centre left. The chamber is transported upright.Humidity control and water supplyHumidity is supplied by a self-priming pump that draws from an external container. The water canister with connection hose is supplied with the chamber. The germ barrier is implemented as hot steam generation, and dehumidification runs via a sterile filter. The water must be demineralised or fully deionised, with a conductivity of 5 to 10 µS/cm and a pH value between 5 and 7. A central water supply for connection to the domestic water supply is available as an accessory. The setting accuracy of humidity is 0.5 % rh. To avoid condensate formation, door and rear wall are additionally heated, plus all-round heating on six sides.Programming and documentationWith AtmoCONTROL, programs can be written, managed and transferred to the chamber via Ethernet or USB. The digital countdown clock ranges from 1 minute to 99 days and shows the target time. SetpointWAIT lets the process time run only from the point when the setpoint temperature has been reached. Three values each for temperature and humidity can be freely calibrated. Also settable are Celsius or Fahrenheit, time zone and summer and winter time. If the power fails, the program sequence remains saved.Fault detection and protectionThe two Pt100 sensors (DIN class A, 4-wire measurement) check each other, and in the event of a fault the remaining sensor takes over. AutoSAFETY tracks a freely selectable upper and lower temperature limit to the setpoint. If it is violated, the chamber gives a visual and acoustic alarm, and when exceeded the heating switches off. The self-diagnosis system covers temperature and humidity control. The environment may be 10 to 30 °C warm and at most 70 % rel. humidity, non-condensing, and the installation altitude is at most 2,000 m above sea level. At the back, 15 cm of wall distance are to be kept, 20 cm at the top, 5 cm at the sides.HCP105, HCP50 or HCP150Compared with the HCP50 (56 l, 5 shelves, 75 kg), the HCP105 brings about twice the volume and a sixth shelf. Upwards follows the HCP150 with 156 l, ten shelves and 120 kg total load. The ICH110 climate chamber has almost the same volume at 108 l, but sets -10 to +60 °C and 10 to 80 % rh. Ten shelves in 156 litres: the Memmert Humidity Chamber HCP150 is the third of four sizes in the HCP series and, with 700 mm internal height, considerably taller than the HCP105 with 480 mm at the same internal area of 560 x 400 mm. Externally it measures 719 x 1,070 x 591 mm plus 56 mm door handle. Temperature (+18 to +90 °C) and relative humidity (20 to 95 % rh, also rh-Off) are controlled by the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY.Ten levels, 120 kg total loadAs standard, two stainless steel perforated trays are in the interior made of stainless steel 1.4301 (ASTM 304), and a maximum of ten shelves fit in. 15 kg apply per shelf, and 120 kg for the whole unit. The net weight is approx. 90 kg, and the connected load at 230 V approx. 1,800 W. Against condensate, heating on six sides, door heating and rear wall heating are at work.Control and data retentionThe TwinDISPLAY forms the ControlCOCKPIT: an adaptive, digital PID microprocessor controller with two high-resolution TFT colour graphic displays. Programs are created with the AtmoCONTROL software and reach the chamber via Ethernet or USB. The countdown clock covers 1 minute to 99 days, and SetpointWAIT waits for the setpoint temperature before starting the process time. Three values each for temperature and humidity are available for calibration. In the event of a power failure, the program sequence is saved. The menu languages range from German through Polish and Hungarian to Chinese.Protective functionsTwo Pt100 sensors (DIN class A, 4-wire measurement) monitor each other and step in for one another in the event of a fault. The HCP240 (241 l, twelve shelves, 140 kg) is 600 mm wide and 500 mm deep inside. Anyone looking for a larger volume in a climate chamber with a different range will find 256 l at -10 to +60 °C and 10 to 80 % rh in the ICH260.
