The turbulence-free all-rounder: Memmert UN160

The Memmert UN160 universal oven is the perfect mid-sized solution for laboratories requiring a generous capacity of 161 litres but working with sensitive samples. The unit utilises natural convection (without a fan) for heat distribution. As no air flow is generated, this drying cabinet is ideal for the gentle drying and temperature control of fine powders, light granulates, paper or sensitive biological samples that must not be stirred up or dried out on the surface.

Intuitive operation thanks to SingleDISPLAY

Equipped with the tried-and-tested SingleDISPLAY, the UN160 is incredibly easy to operate. Via the high-resolution TFT touchscreen, you can set the temperature, programme duration and the position of the exhaust air flap for fresh air supply precisely and clearly. A high-precision Pt100 temperature sensor (DIN Class A) ensures accurate measurement results.

High-quality materials and safety

As is standard with Memmert, the housing and interior are made of scratch-resistant, robust and easy-to-clean stainless steel (1.4301). Full-surface heating behind the interior walls ensures gentle and uniform heat transfer. To protect your samples and the laboratory, the oven is fitted with an integrated electronic temperature monitor and a mechanical temperature limiter.
