The Memmert UN260plus universal cabinet is the ideal large-capacity unit for laboratories, research institutions and industry where plenty of space is required but an air flow would be undesirable. With an internal volume of 256 litres and natural convection (fanless), this cabinet guarantees absolutely turbulence-free heat transfer. It is the perfect choice for the gentle drying, ageing or temperature control of fine powders, light granulates, paper or sensitive biological samples that must not be stirred up.

TwinDISPLAY: Maximum control for complex processes

Despite the gentle, fanless heating, the ‘Plus’ model offers full programmability. The TwinDISPLAY, with its two high-resolution TFT touchscreens, makes creating sophisticated temperature ramps and process cycles child’s play. The electronically controlled exhaust air flap regulates the fresh air supply precisely in 10% increments. A major advantage with this large chamber volume is the HeatBALANCE function: this allows the heating power to be adjusted specifically between the upper and lower sections of the chamber to compensate for asymmetrical loads or differing thermal masses.

Redundant safety and comprehensive documentation

Two independently operating Pt100 sensors (DIN Class A) ensure maximum process reliability. If one sensor fails, the second seamlessly takes over temperature control. The integrated AutoSAFETY system reliably protects your valuable samples through visual and audible alarms, as well as automatic heating shutdown in the event of deviations. All process data is stored in the internal data logger and can be read out via USB or Ethernet using the supplied AtmoCONTROL software, which is FDA-compliant (GMP/GLP).
